Electrical Services for Your Home
We hold a Master Electrical License, we are NABCEP certified, and we have been doing this work for 5 years. That covers the everyday jobs, like electrical repair, lighting installation and surge protection, along with bigger projects such as panel upgrades, whole-home rewiring, remodel and addition wiring, and generator or home battery backup systems. We also do code corrections and inspection fixes when a home sale or permit check turns something up, plus torque and cleans that tighten and inspect the connections inside your panel. Pick a service below to read what it involves and what to look for.

Panel Upgrades
We check your panel and service size, explain whether you need a new panel, more amps or neither, and handle the permit and inspection.
Electrical Repair
Dead outlets, tripping breakers, flickering lights or warm switch plates, traced to the real cause and repaired with a clear account of what went wrong.
Lighting Installation
Recessed lights, ceiling fans, dimmers and outdoor fixtures installed in your home, with each choice explained so you know what you're getting.
EV Charger Installation
Level 2 charger circuits sized to your car and your panel, with plug-in and hardwired options explained before any wire is run.
Whole-Home Rewiring
Replace worn, ungrounded or aluminum wiring with new copper circuits, planned room by room so you know what changes and why.
Generator Installation
Standby generators and portable generator hookups, sized to what you need to keep running and connected through a proper transfer switch.
Generator Service & Repair
Routine maintenance, load testing and repairs for standby generators and transfer switches, with each finding explained in plain terms before any work.
Home Battery Backup
Quiet stored power for the circuits you rely on most, sized to your home and installed with the permit and inspection handled.
Remodel & Addition Wiring
New circuits, outlets and lighting for kitchens, baths and additions, planned around your panel's capacity and roughed in before the drywall goes up.
Code Corrections & Inspection Fixes
We turn electrical items on a home, permit or insurance inspection into finished, code-compliant work, and walk you through each one so you know what you're paying for.
Surge Protection
A surge protector at your panel, backed up by good plug-in units where they count, so storms and cycling motors stop chewing through your electronics.
Torque & Cleans
Panel maintenance that tightens every connection to the maker's spec and clears out dust and debris, so small heat problems get caught early.

What to Expect From Start to Finish
Each job follows the same clear steps, so nothing catches you off guard.
- 1
Give us a call
Tell us about the problem or project over the phone, and we schedule a service visit when it suits you. A few quick questions help us bring the parts we are likely to need.
- 2
We inspect and explain
At your home we test circuits, open the panel when needed and pin down the cause. Then we show you what we found and walk through each option in everyday language.
- 3
You review a written estimate
Every part of the work has its own line. Read it at your own pace and ask about anything that is not clear.
- 4
We finish and verify the work
We cover your floors, complete the job, pull any needed permit and take care of the inspection. Before leaving, we test everything and walk you through what we did.

What Shapes the Cost of Electrical Work
We do not quote a number before we have seen the job, because the same request can mean very different work from one house to the next. Here is what moves the price, so the estimate you get makes sense.
After we look at the job, you get a written estimate with each part spelled out. Nothing starts until you have read it and said yes.
- The size of the job
- Replacing one dead outlet is a short visit. Adding circuits for a kitchen remodel or rewiring a whole house takes days and much more material.
- What is behind the walls
- Older wiring, undersized wire or past do-it-yourself work can turn up once a cover plate comes off. If we find something like that, we stop, show you and go over your choices before going further.
- Access to the work
- An open attic or unfinished garage is quicker to run wire through than finished walls and ceilings. Long runs from the panel to the far side of the house, or out to a detached building, add labor and wire. In a hot Texas summer, attic work also gets scheduled for cooler hours, which can affect timing.
- Equipment you choose
- Fixtures, EV chargers, generators and battery systems come in a wide range. We tell you what the differences mean in daily use so you are not paying for features you will never notice.
- Your panel's capacity
- A new EV charger or generator sometimes needs more room in the panel than you have. When that happens, we say so up front and help you weigh whether a panel upgrade or another option makes more sense.
- Permits and inspections
- Jobs that require a permit include the permit fee and the time to meet the inspector. We list these on the estimate so they are not a surprise later.

About White Settlement Electrician
We are a local electrical company serving White Settlement and the towns around it. Most of our customers call because something is not working right, a breaker that keeps tripping or a light that flickers, or because they are planning something new, like an EV charger or backup power for outages. Either way, they want someone who will tell them what is really going on.
That is the part we care about most. Electrical problems can feel worrying when you cannot see them, and it is easy to feel pushed into a big job. We would rather show you what each choice means and let you decide. If a simple repair is all you need, we will say so.

What Sets Our Visits Apart
Since wiring sits out of sight inside your walls, it's tough to tell what your home really needs. We show you what's happening, and the decision stays with you, with all the facts on the table.
Photos of what we find
A scorched outlet, a loose neutral, two wires crowded under one breaker screw: we photograph each problem. Then we go over the pictures with you so our advice is clear before you say yes to anything.
More than one way forward
Most problems have a few possible fixes. We explain the repair, bring up an upgrade when it's worth a thought, and tell you plainly which we'd pick for our own home and why.
Estimates in plain words
Each item on your written estimate gets its own line, described in language you can follow. When a term like AFCI breaker or service mast appears, we explain what it is and why it's included.
We handle the permits
If the work calls for a permit, we file it and arrange the inspection as your local jurisdiction requires. The paperwork stays with us, and you never have to deal with the city yourself.
Respect for your house
Floor coverings go down wherever we walk, dust stays contained when a wall is opened, and we clean up before leaving. The work gets done and your home is left the way we found it.
Questions Homeowners Ask Us
Do you handle the permit?
Yes. When a job calls for one, such as new circuits, a generator or a panel upgrade, we file the permit and schedule the inspection the way your local jurisdiction requires. The fee is listed on your estimate. Plenty of small repairs need no permit at all, and we will tell you which ones do.
Why does my breaker keep shutting off?
A breaker cuts power to keep the wire from overheating, so every trip is a signal. The usual reasons are an overloaded circuit, an appliance on its way out, a loose connection or a short. We test to find which one it is, then explain whether you need to move a load, add a circuit or fix a fault. Please never swap in a bigger breaker on your own, because the wire could overheat.
How long does it take to replace a panel?
Most panel replacements take about a day on site, with the power out for part of it. The overall timeline also hinges on the permit, the inspection and the utility's disconnect and reconnect. We share the schedule early so you can plan for the hours without power.
Is my garage ready for an EV charger?
Usually, yes. First we see whether your panel has space for a dedicated charger circuit and how far the garage sits from it. If the panel is full or close to its limit, we go over the options, such as a load management device or a panel upgrade. Our EV Charger Installation page has more detail.
What is a torque and clean, and do I need one?
Years of heating and cooling can loosen the screws that hold wires to breakers and bus bars. A loose connection runs hot, and that heat can damage the wire or the breaker. During a torque and clean we tighten each connection to the manufacturer's spec, clear out dust and look for heat or corrosion. It is worth doing if your panel has not been opened in a long while, or if a breaker feels warm or you hear a light buzz.
Do you warranty your work?
Yes. The repairs and installations we do carry a 1-year workmanship warranty. Equipment like fixtures, chargers or generators also has its own manufacturer coverage, and we point out that paperwork when the job is done.
What happens if you find a bigger problem partway through?
We stop and show you. You see the spot or a photo, hear what it means in plain words and get a written change to the estimate if extra work is needed. Whether to go ahead is up to you, and we never do work you have not approved.
